Basic Information Concerning Delta 8 Thc

The Idaho state Senate will consider legislation to legalize hemp that Idaho Gov. Brad Little said Monday, March 25, 2019 could get his signature if amendments sought by law enforcement officials are approved. The amendments seek to make it possible for officials to intercept marijuana, illegal in the state, without being stymied by laws that make hemp legal. (AP Photo/Don Ryan, File)

The basic concepts concerning this compound apply to all forms of cannabinoid products, so whether you get delta 9 or delta 8 is not nearly as important as what else is in the product you buy. However, there are some slight differences between these two chemicals, which are worth noting. Just as delta 9 THC has a different effect on the body than does cannabinol, so too will delta 8 flower have a somewhat different effect.

Delta 8 THC is similar to Delta 9 THC in its chemical structure with the only difference being that there is one carbon atom attached to the hydrogen and oxygen atoms making up the molecule. This one atom makes all of the difference between these two forms of THC by boosting its psychoactive properties significantly over those found in Delta 9. It also enhances nearly every other property associated with marijuana including pain relief, nausea suppression, appetite stimulation, blood sugar control and feelings of euphoria. The fact that this change happens around half of all naturally occurring terpenes helps to boost this compound’s ability to fight insomnia, anxiety and stress.

Delta 8 THC is known for being a very strong analgesic in both human and animal tests. It is five times more powerful than Delta 9 in this regard which translates into a much more clear-headed effect instead of the often disorienting effects the latter gives users. The difference between delta 9 THC and delta 8 may not be as great in terms of their psychoactive abilities, but delta 8 makes up for it with its pain relief abilities that are present regardless of whether the user has eaten recently or not. This never fails to impress users who have been prescribed marijuana medicines by doctors for chronic pain relief.

The Cancer Institute also knows how valuable this compound is as a pain reliever and they have been studying it intensely since the 1970s. Delta 8 flower has shown itself to be effective at treating all types of cancer including lung, breast and bone cancers. It also helps to stop chemotherapy-induced nausea without causing too many other side effects which makes it ideal for patients who require these treatments for their conditions.

Some users have noted that delta 8 has a stronger sedative effect than other forms of weed which can be used by those suffering from insomnia or even those just looking for a more relaxed experience before going to bed for the night. The sedation given by this compound is different from that provided by other cannabinoids because it comes with little memory loss or confusion with its use.
